How I work From good intention to clear, confident, auditable practice Safeguarding Assured by BVPSkills  ·  safeguardassured.com

How I work

Every setting is different, but the path from good intention to clear, confident, auditable practice follows a familiar shape.

Here is how we would work together. Each stage is tailored to your framework, the CSSA National Safeguarding Standards for religious life, or the Ofsted framework with Keeping Children Safe in Education for education settings, and to the culture and pressures of your organisation.

1

A confidential conversation

We begin with an unhurried, confidential conversation about where you are, what is prompting the work and what good would look like for you. There is no obligation, and nothing is shared beyond that conversation.

2

A clear, tailored proposal

I set out a proposal that is honest about scope, approach and investment, framed to your standards and your timescale, with no hidden costs. You know exactly what to expect before anything begins.

3

An honest baseline review

Together we take a clear-eyed look at your current arrangements, evidence and culture, mapped against each standard. The aim is not to catch you out, but to see plainly where you stand and where the gaps are.

4

Priorities and a realistic action plan

I turn the findings into a prioritised, achievable plan with named owners and sensible timescales, concentrating first on what makes the biggest difference to your safeguarding position and your readiness for scrutiny.

5

Evidence and assurance

We build the policies, trackers, dashboards and reporting that turn good practice into evidence trustees, governors and inspectors can see, so your compliance can be demonstrated with confidence.

6

Ongoing support, as much or as little as you need

Beyond the initial work, I can provide DSL mentoring, training and monthly assurance reporting, so safeguarding stays lived and current, not simply filed. You stay in control of the pace and the scope.
