Over eight days I will take you through the safeguarding themes an inspector looks at, from leadership to the latest Keeping Children Safe in Education, in plain language. Every email is a two-minute read and ends with one simple question to ask of your own provision, so by the end you will have a clear, honest picture of where you stand and where to focus first. One thing worth holding in mind: under the current Ofsted framework, safeguarding is judged simply met or not met, there is no partial pass, so the details are worth getting right.
